Mo's fight it out over public land and payola.
More good news from Moldy Chum.
The Utah Division of Wildlife purchased land on the Green River that the Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration put up for auction. Most sane people like the idea of public land staying public but it appears that some folks are upset with the purchase.
Local yocals feel that the Division of Wildlife screwed them over by scaring away developers.
Officials at the Trust are crying foul too, saying "the children were short changed." They believe that the UDW manipulated the bidding process, effectively forcing a Georgia resort developer out of the auction.
Wah!
The way we see it here at Flytimes, some folks at Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration won't be getting their kickback from said developer.
But don't take our word for it check the facts at the Salt Lake Tribune.
